Policy & Procedure

+ operation schedule

We at Studio 1108 are committed to providing quality work. We value our client’s monies and time, and we aim for satisfactory service. Rest and/or days off are vital to our business’s success and the quality of our clients’ work. With that being stated, Sundays and Wednesdays, no graphic work will be started, completed, or edited.

Holidays and/or Vacation closings will be articulated in a sufficient amount of time. (See Turn-Around & Delays)

+ payments & deposits

100% of payment is required before graphic design work is started.

Deposits are ONLY accepted at our discretion. If there is a deposit that is to be paid, we and the client (s) have made an agreement as to how much is required and when the remainder of the payment is due.

+ refunds

Every effort will be made to create design work that will please the client. However, because the nature of graphic design work is creating “custom” products, no refunds will be given for any design fees. This is contingent on the client’s agreement to pay.

+ turn-around

While there is a great demand for graphic designers, in general, we at Studio 1108 make an effort to complete quality work as quickly as possible. Due to this demand, specifically on our company, all turn-around times will be discussed and agreed on between us and the client (s) before payment is processed.

+ artwork copyright

Designs created by Studio 1108 are exclusive to each client, so the designs are yours after payment has been made. Any concepts that are not chosen and paid for will be a violation of Roaring Lion Media Companys’ rights if they are used elsewhere.

PSD/AI (or any raw files) ARE NOT INCLUDED. If you desire to possess a raw file, the client must pay four times the cost of that particular design.

+ portfolio and website credit

We reserve the right to add completed projects to our portfolio. If there is a privacy issue involved, please inform us.

+ delays

Any delay in the completion of a project due to external forces beyond my control (such as family issues, sickness, computer/Internet related issues, holidays, emergencies, etc.), or actions and negligence of the client (ex: content delivery delays, delays in feedback and/or approval, etc.), shall entitle Roaring Lion Media Co. to extend the completion/delivery date, upon notifying the client, by the time equivalent of such a delay.

There is an expectation that the client will deliver necessary content, feedback and change requests, etc. by the agreed-upon time.

+ revisions & approvals

A total of 3 revisions can be made after the initial design is sent. If more revisions are required, an additional fee may apply. This will be discussed and agreed on before fee is added.

Upon acceptance of the work, the client accepts responsibility for any further processes in which this work is used (e.g. film outpost, printing, etc.) Designer is not responsible for errors occurring in this work or projects related to this work after acceptance of the work by the client.

+ project rejection

Studio 1108 has the right to reject any project that we are uncomfortable with or challenges the integrity of the business (i.e., Nudity, pornography, offensive material, vulgar language, etc.). You will be notified if your order is rejected and the reason for rejection.

+ CONTRACT AGREEMENT

By entering into a Studio 1108 project, you consent to be bound by the terms of these policies and procedures.
